Volunteers needed for Rebuilding Together Montgomery County
Rebuilding Together provides free critical home repairs to Montgomery County’s most vulnerable residents. The repairs RTMC volunteers make help those members of our community who are most in need stay safe in their homes. Holy Cross teams with Saint Mark Presbyterian and Bethesda United Church of Christ as a visible sign of Christian Unity. The Social Concerns Committee also provides a wonderful picnic meal for volunteers.
The project work day is September 11, 2021
. Those with more experience can volunteer for work on the project on additional Saturdays. Teens may participate with parents. If you are interested in volunteering by working or helping with the picnic meal, send an email to
or call Fred Marinucci at 301-642-3928.
HOLY CROSS CHILDREN'S CHOIR GET TOGETHER
Thursday, September 16 at 4:30 p.m.
Dr. Mariana Mihai-Zoeter the music director at Holy Cross, is inviting all children grades 3-8 (existing members and new members who wish to sing in the Children's choir) and their parents to join her on September 16 at 4:30 pm for the first choir gathering of the year in the sanctuary. Do you play the piano?
Every month, Father Perkins celebrates Holy Mass at Brighton Gardens Assisted Living Facility (5550 Tuckerman Lane, Rockville 20852). This Mass is a joyous occasion attended by the Catholic community as well as followers of other denominations. Volunteers from our parish serve as cantor and pianist for two hymns. Currently, we are in need of a pianist. Please share your musical skills and talent with us by playing the piano at the monthly Mass. All visitors to Brighton Gardens must be fully vaccinated against the COVID virus. For more information, please contact Charlotte King, Ministry to the Sick and Homebound at 301-816-0176.
